career milestones
1999
Joins the Editorial department at Millfilm for Gladiator. Assembles reels of filmed out VFX shots to screen to Ridley Scott.
2000
Joins CFC; The Computer Film Company (Framestore's original feature VFX department) as VFX Editor and works alongside the RND department (later to become FilmLight) on the UK's first digitally graded film Chicken Run, followed by Tomb Raider, Blade 2 and the first two Harry Potter films.
2002
Sets up the Editorial department at Double Negative whilst the company is in it's infancy and manages a team of in-house VFX Editors as the company grows from 30 staff to around 200, working on films including Shaun of the Dead, United 93 and Batman Begins.
2006
Whilst at DNeg works on-set on Alfonso Cuarón's Children of Men alongside VFX Supervisor Frazer Churchill to ensure all the sections of the ambitious single take shots can be stitched together.
2007
Goes freelance as a VFX Editor on Neil Marshall’s Doomsday.
2011
Works in New Mexico during the shoot for Paul, starring Simon Pegg & Nick Frost, the first of four films working alongside Oscar winning Editor Chris Dickens.
2008 - 2018
Establishes himself as a top level VFX Editor and works alongside directors including Edgar Wright, Richard Curtis, Jonathan Glazer and Dexter Fletcher. Also cuts original and striking stand alone scenes for The Soloist and Berberian Sound Studio.
2019 - 2025
Edits all 15 episodes of Prehistoric Planet for Apple TV+ working alongside the BBC's Natural History Unit and Executive Producer Jon Favreau.
